Keeping a Journal?

So how many of us keep a journal now? A proper old fashioned, written journal? I know I definitely don't, I've always wanted to keep a proper diary, since I could remember and I've always been rubbish and never knew what to write, or just forgot all together! However I have now decided I want to document my life, especially as it's my final year at uni, I think it will be a nice thing to look back on in a few years.

I'm going to get that fab new Moleskine notebook with Snoopy on the front! If anything is going to make me keep a diary that will! I also intend to get Wreck this Journal in the hope that if I ever forgot to write something down that will jog my creativity!

I'm going to start it now but it's sort of an early New Years resolution! So hopefully some people may start a diary, I think having some things in a real hard copy rather than just on the computer is quite a nice thing to do!

Bye for now!

  2. I used to - pretty much every day from the age of seven to my early 30s! But I just find it too difficult now, and I think the fact that I write on forums/FB/Twitter etc etc kind of takes away the urgency to write in a journal. It's a shame. I have all my diaries, including that first one from when I was seven. It's very funny.

I'm actually sitting here about to start one, though, to chart a particular challenge I am setting myself... I'm looking forward to journalling again and really hope I can keep to it!

  3. I love that notebook!!

I used to keep a journal, maybe writing every day, sometimes every few weeks.

It may be a good idea for me to use some of my Hedgie notebooks for journals!
